skills develop. Many of her students have earned year-end championships
and medal finals through out the years. She also enjoys bringing
young open horses along. Her strong horsemanship background
has taught her to bring along a horse slowly, while building
it's confidence with positive experiences. Rebecca makes several
buying trips a year to Germany for both private clients and
investment horses.
As a junior, Rebecca trained with Mary Gatti, Patrick Spanton,
and Kim Tasker for seven years accruing numerous championships
and winning many national medal finals and year-end awards.
She gained valuable experience as one of the country's top catch
riders working with such notable professionals as Archie Cox
of Brookway Stables and Monarch International. Since turning
professional, Rebecca still works closely in collaboration with
Rainbow Canyon and many other top professionals throughout the
country, Canada, and Europe..

Sara Estel
Sara joined the Sunnybrook team in 2008. She grew
up riding in Southern California and has many contacts through
out the county. She started working in the horse industry at
the early age of 14. She has an extensive foundation in dressage
and strong western background. In 2007, Sara spent a year teaching
and showing Grand Prix horses in Japan. In 2010, Sara took some
time off from Sunnybrook, went to Montana to break and train
young western horses. During this time, she also worked in Canada
training eventing horses.
Luckily for Sunnybrook, Sara missed her family
and friends (especially the warm weather) and decided to return
to Southern California. She likes spending time with her nephews
and niece. She brought back her most beloved possession from
Montana, Duke, who now resides at Sunnybrook. Duke is happily
living the good life at the beach instead of the cold winters
in Montana.
Sara does a great job of keeping things organized
at home and on the road at the shows. She is a great teacher
and role model for the students of Sunnybrook.
Our Grooms
Our grooms are dedicated horsemen themselves.
They take great pride in the care, preparation, and quality
of our show horses. The grooms are an integral part of
any show barn operation and are a key ingredient for the success
of the riders and horses.
